Transport Canada Recognised ICC<24M in lieu of the PCOC

IYT’s MCA Recognised ICC <24M (International Certificate of Competency) can be crossed over to a Transport Canada Recognised ICC<24M in lieu of the PCOC by completing the IYT “Canadian Boating Requirements” eLearning course.  You can find the online course here on our website.  Please read the information provided regarding the steps to take to obtain the TC ICC<24M as IYT must issue you a new ICC certificate with the text “Recognised by Transport Canada in lieu of the PCOC Card”.

AMSA Coxswain Grade 1

Holders of this certificate may obtain the MCA Recognised Small Powerboat & RIB Master Certificate of Competency.  Please see this page of our website to learn more about the Small Powerboat & RIB Master Certificate of Competency. 

Also, if the holder of the Small Powerboat & RIB Master CoC via crossover meets the requirements outlined by the UNECE to gain the International Certificate of Competency (ICC) regarding citizenship or residency they may receive the MCA Recognised IYT ICC <10M Power Coastal.  Please refer to this page of our website for details regarding the ICC.
