IYT welcomes experienced mariners who wish to teach recreational and professional courses within our global network. Here’s what you need to know to begin the process.

Approval Pathway: Recognition of Existing Qualifications

Individuals who hold relevant maritime qualifications from other recognized maritime organizations may apply to become IYT instructors. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility and equivalency.
