IYT has launched a new E-Learning Course “Module 26: Canadian Boating Requirements”!
We are very pleased to announce that we have launched a new “Module 26: Canadian Boating Requirements” e- Learning course for candidates who want to gain a thorough knowledge of Canadian Boating Requirements and/or receive the ICC recognised by Transport Canada in lieu of the PCOC.
The information contained in this course is provided free of charge in order to promote international boating safety. To take this free course you simply need to register or login to your IYT profile and pay a $0.00 invoice.
After completing the course, candidates will have the option to purchase access to the final theory examination in order to receive the “Module 26: Canadian Boating Requirements Course Completion Certificate”.
Candidates who currently hold an IYT MCA ICC or another IYT certificate that qualifies for issuance of an ICC, may then apply to IYT for the Transport Canada approved ICC in lieu of the PCOC. Please note that this ICC certificate is also recognised by the MCA.
- Please note that the school where candidates have trained must be approved by IYT for ICC Certification. (see www.iytworld.com for detailed information)
- Candidates must provide their existing qualification, this Module 26: Canadian Boating Requirements Completion Certificate and a recognised VHF Maritime Radio Operators Certificate of Competency.
To take the final online examination to receive the “Module 26: Canadian Boating Requirements Course Completion Certificate” a candidate must:
- Pay $25.00 USD fee by credit card or PayPal.
- Complete this E-Learning course, all quizzes within the course and the final theory examination.
- When all the steps noted above have been successfully completed, a candidate will be able to print the Course completion certificate (pdf version) and/or refer to this certificate which will appear on your IYT account profile.
